This role is ideal for someone with a few solid years of hands-on marketing experience who is ready to step up, drive strategy, and execute campaigns in a fast-paced startup environment. You'll be the person shaping how our brand shows up in the market and making sure our marketing efforts translate directly into growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of our marketing strategy across digital, social, email, and other channels.
- Build and evolve our brand positioning and storytelling, ensuring consistency across all campaigns and platforms.
- Conduct market research to spot trends, understand competitors, and uncover opportunities to grow our audience.
- Manage and grow our social media presence, from content creation to community engagement.
- Create and distribute marketing materials such as newsletters and promotional campaigns.
- Work directly with design and creative resources to develop compelling content.
- Track and analyze performance of campaigns, using data and insights to continuously improve results.

- Act as the go-to person for all marketing initiatives, working closely with leadership to align efforts with business goals.
Qualifications:

- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking, with the ability to make informed decisions based on data and metrics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and marketing tools (Google/Meta ad platforms, CRM, email marketing, social media management).
- Proficient in SEO, Google AdWords, and other digital marketing tools
- Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable working independently, wearing many hats, and moving quickly.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
- Familiarity with AI tools for marketing.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic web development.
- Experience with content marketing and copywriting.
- Experience in managing a contact center or call center is a plus
Life at Maverick Games:

- We thrive in a fast-paced environment where agility and creativity are key. You'll be challenged and engaged every day as we push the boundaries of what's possible.
- At Maverick Games, our small, close-knit team fosters excellent communication and collaboration. You'll have direct access to both colleagues and leadership, ensuring your ideas are heard and valued. Join us for a supportive environment where your contributions truly make a difference.
