Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Linguistics Specialist in Spanish Teaching with Creative Crafts Expertise. This unique role integrates linguistic instruction with creative crafts, helping students develop Spanish language skills while exploring artistic expression and cultural traditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver Spanish learning rooted in linguistic principles, tailored to children and teens.
  • Incorporate creative crafts projects into sessions, emphasizing language learning.
  • Develop engaging and age-appropriate curriculum for afterschool and long-term programs.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Manage each session materials and ensure efficient use of resources.

Qualifications

  • Advanced understanding of linguistics, with specialization in Spanish.
  • Fluency in Spanish (native or near-native proficiency).
  • Experience teaching Spanish to children/teens, preferably with a linguistics-based approach.
  • Skills in arts and crafts, with the ability to design engaging projects.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills.
  • Passion for education, creativity, and cultural exchange.
