About Us

The Advancement department plays a pivotal role in nurturing enduring relationships which foster meaningful engagement, financial suppport, advocacy and leadership among alumni and other stakeholders.The Development Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Advancement goals of the Ivey Business School by providing critical administrative support, including calendar management, research and information management, for donor-facing advancement professionals to allow them to focus and prioritize their efforts on achieving their goals.

Responsibilities

Development Assistant will coordinate logistics for two to three fundraising professionals' calendars and travel, including calling and emailing. Maintains and updates database, coding individual attributes, and tracks expenses/invoices, enters speed codes, and submits travel expenses on behalf of assigned advancement professionals.

Education:

  • Community College Diploma in an administrative field

Experience:

  • 2 years' experience supporting senior management and providing relationship management

  • Experience working with computer software and platforms preferred.

  • Knowledge of the administrative policies and procedures of the University and Ivey Business School is preferred.
  • Experience with online learning management systems (LMS) such as Canvas or OWL and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
