Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide crucial support to our office operations and assist with various administrative tasks. This is a part-time position with competitive pay.
Responsibilities:
Perform general administrative duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence
Maintain and update company records and databases
Assist with account reconciliation and account analysis
Process payroll and manage employee timekeeping records
Conduct bank reconciliations and assist with financial reporting
Utilize software such as Xero, and Sage for bookkeeping tasks
Handle accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and collections
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Proficient in using accounting software such as Xero, or Sage
Knowledge of account reconciliation, payroll processing
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Bookkeping experience (1-2 years)
