Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager (TPM) with deep expertise in data management to lead enterprise-scale initiatives. This role requires a strong balance of program leadership, technical depth, and stakeholder engagement to ensure data is treated as a strategic asset across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional programs focused on data governance, data quality, and data platform modernization.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable data management strategies and execution roadmaps.
  • Oversee program delivery, ensuring milestones, dependencies, and risks are managed effectively.
  • Partner with engineering, analytics, compliance, and business stakeholders to align on priorities and outcomes.
  • Drive adoption of data governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2, etc.).
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for data quality, availability, and security.
  • Provide clear communication and reporting to executive leadership on program progress and risks.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of program or project management experience, with at least 4 years focused on data-centric initiatives.
  • Proven track record of leading enterprise-scale data management programs (e.g., data lake migration, master data management, governance rollout).
  • Strong understanding of data management tools and platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Azure Synapse, Collibra, Alation, Informatica).
  • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT workflows.
  • Experience with cloud-native data services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Familiarity with data security practices, including encryption, access control, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complex data concepts for non-technical audiences.
