Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hauling equipment and gravel safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy trucks to transport freight to various locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Load and unload equipment as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
  • Follow designated routes and schedules while being flexible to adapt to changes as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding delivery status.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving.

Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
  • Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation.
  • Basic automotive repair skills for minor vehicle maintenance.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
