About The Opportunity
The successful candidate will take a hands-on leadership role in the piloting and commercialization of a hydrometallurgical process designed for sustainable metals recovery and refining. You will play a pivotal part in bridging laboratory innovation and industrial implementation — overseeing pilot operations, data generation, process optimization, and scale-up planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead pilot plant operations focused on hydrometallurgical process development
  • Translate lab-scale chemistry into robust pilot-scale systems
  • Develop process parameters, operational protocols, and safety procedures
  • Manage equipment design, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting
  • Generate detailed technical reports and recommendations for full-scale commercialization
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, engineering, and operations teams

Ideal Profile

  • 8+ years of experience in pilot plant operations or process scale-up
  • Deep understanding of hydrometallurgy, solvent extraction, leaching, precipitation, or related processes
  • Demonstrated success taking a process from concept to pilot to production
  • Strong technical acumen paired with practical, hands-on problem-solving ability
  • Experience in battery materials, critical minerals, or recycling is a plus but not required
