As a Claims Processor, you'll play a key role in supporting our Home Dealers by ensuring claims are handled quickly, accurately, and with a seamless customer service experience. Reporting to the Dealer Services Manager, this opportunity suits a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service with accuracy and professionalism.
Please note this is a 12-month term position.
Ready to make an impact in a new role? Here's how:
- Assist with Dealer inquiries pertaining to the Claims program (policies and procedures) and the electronic processing system.
- Review all electronic claims entered by Dealers and process next steps to ensure accuracy and correct invoicing for the Dealers.
- Provide support for other areas of the business related to Dealer claims.
- The filing of picklist and bill of ladings for Warehouse.
- Participate in the development of Claims training material to be shared interdepartmentally and with Dealers.
We're looking for:
- Post-secondary courses in Business, Office Management or Accounting are an asset.
- One to two years of office, administration or claims experience is preferred.
- Retail experience would be considered an asset.
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of Home Hardware's computer systems an asset. Product knowledge is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to ensure professionalism during all correspondence.
- Excellent attention to detail skills.
- Ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.
