Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Removal General Labour to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient snow removal from various surfaces, including roads, parking lots, and pathways. This role requires a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and the ability to operate small equipment and tools effectively during winter weather conditions.

Duties

  • Operate snow removal equipment and tools to clear snow from designated areas.
  • Maintain and inspect snow removal equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including minor repairs as needed.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for additional snow removal tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts efficiently.
  • Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to changing conditions.
  • Attention to detail is required, and being able to follow instructions and work not only as a team member, but independently when needed

Skills

  • Experience with hand tools and power tools relevant to construction and landscape maintenance.
  • Mechanical knowledge for small equipment maintenance and repair
  • Must be able to work flexible and long hours, during the day, evening, and weekends
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with snow removal and landscaping.
  • Valid Driver License with a Clean Driving Abstract
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions.
  • Must have a working cellular phone with Data Usage

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal

Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
