About Vantage Commodities
Vantage Commodities Inc is a trader-led firm built by professionals with nearly two decades at the top of the lumber trading industry. With deep expertise in both physical supply and futures markets, we approach the trade with structure, strategy, and disciplined execution.
The Role
We are seeking an organized and proactive Executive Assistant to work directly with the Founder/Managing Partner. The objective of this role is simple: enable the Founder to focus on high-level trading and business expansion by taking ownership of the administrative and operational tasks that would otherwise slow him down. Including scheduling, hiring support, basic HR coordination, travel, social media, and general office duties when needed.
You will act as the main point of coordination around the Founder's time, priorities, and tasks, helping keep both the Founder and the office running smoothly.

Travel Logistics: Plan and book business travel, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries.
Ad-Hoc Problem Solving: Handle tasks as they arise. Whether it's a personal errand, research, or an urgent business requirement, you are the go-to person to get it done.
Hiring & People Support
Recruitment: Screen new applicants, review resumes, and schedule interviews to help us build a world-class team.
Employee Support: Serve as a point of contact for company employees, assisting with onboarding and general support to maintain a positive culture.
Marketing, Events & Projects
Social Media: Assist in managing the company's LinkedIn and social presence to keep the brand active and professional.
Event Planning: Organize company dinners, team-building events, and client functions.
Project Management: Maintain task lists and follow up with internal/external stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
General Office Administration
Office Management: Ensure the office runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. When not occupied with executive tasks, you will handle general filing, organization, and office upkeep to ensure a professional environment.
Who You Are
Experienced: You have experience as an Executive Assistant, Office Manager, or in a similar operations role.
Trustworthy & Discreet: You will be handling sensitive business information and working closely with leadership. High integrity is non-negotiable.
Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable with office software, social media platforms, and learning new internal systems quickly.
Resilient: You remain calm under pressure and can adapt quickly in a trading environment where priorities shift.
