Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals in need, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a commitment to helping others navigate their challenges effectively.
Duties
- Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and develop individualized service plans.
- Provide guidance and support to clients in accessing community resources, including healthcare, housing, and employment services.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes using various databases.
- Collaborate with other service providers and community organizations to coordinate care and services.
- Facilitate workshops or presentations on relevant topics for clients and community members.
- Utilize project management skills to oversee case management initiatives and ensure timely follow-up.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and stakeholders in both English and French when necessary.
- Demonstrate strong negotiation skills when advocating for clients' needs with external agencies.
Requirements
- Minimum College diploma

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential; experience with Microsoft Access and SharePoint is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills to assess client situations and develop effective solutions.
- English proficiency at IETLS 7.0 or above in each band
- Must be able to communicate in Mandarin
- French language ability is an asset
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly.
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Administrative experience is required; familiarity with records management practices is beneficial.
- Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to client satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team; leadership qualities are a plus.
