Summary of the opportunity - Client Overview: We are hiring for a client that focuses on development support and testing for gameplay mechanics in the technology industry. - Role Summary: As a Development Support team member, you will work closely with development teams to perform early testing, create documentation, and support the Core QA team. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth testing of gameplay mechanics and providing valuable feedback to the QA Leads and development team. 4. What are the key responsibilities? - Work with development teams to conduct early testing and provide feedback on the health of their area/feature(s) - Create documentation including test cases, test briefs, and QA Confluence pages - Act as the primary contact for the QA team, addressing design questions and facilitating communication with the development team - Estimate testing efforts and adjust testing needs based on Core QA requirements - Stay updated with new technologies and continuously develop and refine your skills - Maintain strong organization and communication skills while working with QA and Production teams 5. What experience are we looking for to drive success? - MUST -Have Skills and Qualifications:   - Multiple development cycle experience with a focus on gameplay testing   - Strong understanding of gameplay mechanics, including combat systems, cover systems, and enemy AI behavior   - Knowledge of animation systems and their integration with gameplay   - Experience in writing testing instructions or briefs   - Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt skills   - Strong documentation and organization skills   - Excellent communication skills, comfortable interfacing with QA and Production teams - Preferred Skills and Qualifications:   - Unreal Engine experience   - Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, Perforce, and SharePoint   - Strong adaptable teaching skills for different types of learners   - Familiarity with the "Gears of War" series 6.
