Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and a strong understanding of fabrication processes. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Welder will work in a fast-paced environment, primarily on construction sites or in manufacturing settings, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards.

Duties

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and ASME codes & standards to determine project specifications.
  • Fabricate components according to specifications while adhering to quality control standards.
  • Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure precision in work.
  • Conduct rigging for lifting heavy materials and components using cranes or forklifts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Skills

  • Strong experience in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW.
  • Knowledge of fabrication processes including machining, assembly, and soldering.
  • Familiarity with Shop site environments and safety regulations.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and press brake machines effectively.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
  • Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of rigging principles and practices.
