Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance Assistant based in Oakville, ON. The Finance Assistant will handle financial responsibilities such as processing invoicing, assisting with accounting tasks, and performing financial analyses. Duties will also include maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audits, and preparing reports. Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with team members will be integral to the role.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Finance and Accounting concepts, with the ability to manage financial records and support audit processes
  • Experience with Invoicing and other day-to-day financial operations
  • Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate financial data and identify patterns or discrepancies
  • Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration and reporting
  • Proficiency with financial software and tools is an asset
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
  • A diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred
  • Prior experience in a non-profit or social services setting is an asset
