Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and installation, with the ability to work with various hand tools. This role requires a driven, detail-oriented individual who can perform heavy lifting and is comfortable working in construction environments.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products according to specifications.
  • Utilize hand tools and machinery to cut, shape, and mold metal sheets.
  • Perform caulking and sealing of joints to ensure proper insulation and weatherproofing.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met.

Skills

  • Proficient in the use of hand tools related to sheet metal work.
  • Experience in construction environments with a solid understanding of carpentry principles.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations and fabrications.
