Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Logistics Planner, located in the Greater Winnipeg Metropolitan Area. The Logistics Planner will be responsible for coordinating the transportation and distribution of goods, organizing workflows, and managing schedules. This includes liaising with clients and drivers, optimizing transportation routes, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Strong organizational and communication skills are vital to successfully fulfill these responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess transportation routes and optimize workflows
  • Proficient in planning and efficient time management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with outstanding customer service abilities
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and logistics processes
  • Proficiency with logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site environment
  • Relevant experience in transportation or logistics planning is preferred
