About the Role

The Area Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple landscape and snow service routes within their assigned region. You'll manage client communication, coordinate schedules, and ensure crews meet quality, budget, and productivity goals.

This is a hybrid leadership role combining operations management, client service, and business development — perfect for someone ready to take ownership of their area's performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

• Oversee daily field operations across assigned routes and crews
• Coordinate scheduling, materials, and equipment with the Operations Manager
• Monitor production, job costing, and quality control for all services
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, fleet readiness, and company standards

Client & Account Management

• Act as the primary contact for clients within your area
• Build and maintain long-term relationships through proactive communication and follow-ups
• Conduct site visits and quality inspections to ensure satisfaction
• Address service issues promptly and maintain detailed CRM records

Sales & Area Growth

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your service territory
• Prepare and present estimates, proposals, and service renewals
• Network with local businesses, property managers, and industry associations
• Contribute to revenue growth and profitability goals through upselling and contract expansion

Team Leadership

• Recruit, onboard, and coach field staff
• Lead daily huddles, safety meetings, and performance reviews
• Foster a positive, accountable, and results-driven culture across your crews

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in landscape management, snow operations, or construction supervision
• Strong leadership, scheduling, and communication skills
• Proven experience managing crews, budgets, and client relationships
• Comfortable balancing field work with administrative tasks
• CRM and project management software proficiency (LMN, Aspire, or similar)
• Valid driver's license required

Schedule
