Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Rooms Controller to join our team at Holiday Inn. Located in a vibrant city, this role is vital in ensuring smooth room management and guest satisfaction, aligning with our commitment to excellence in hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate room assignments to optimize occupancy and guest experience.
  • Communicate effectively with front desk staff to manage room availability and special requests.
  • Monitor room status reports and update reservations accordingly.
  • Assist in resolving guest issues related to room bookings and accommodations.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
  • Maintain accurate records of room allocations and changes.
  • Support the front desk team in delivering exceptional guest services.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of hotel operations through proactive management.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience in hotel front desk or reservations management.
  • Excellent communication skills, preferably bilingual or multilingual.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a passion for hospitality.
  • Knowledge of hotel management software is a plus.
  • Previous resort or guest services experience is advantageous.
