Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and versatile individual to join our team as a Bartender/Server/Supervisor. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a solid understanding of food and beverage service. In this role, you will create a welcoming and professional atmosphere, craft and serve drinks, provide attentive table service, and support daily operations. You will also help guide and support the service team, ensuring smooth coordination and an exceptional guest experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve cocktails, sake, wine, and other beverages with consistency and quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory of the bar.
  • Offer recommendations and pairings to enhance the guest dining experience.
  • Uphold responsible service of alcohol in compliance with Smart Serve regulations.
  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, professional table service.
  • Present menu items with confidence, offering suggestions and answering questions.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and address issues promptly.
  • Oversee floor operations during shifts to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Support training, coaching, and motivating front-of-house staff.
  • Act as the point of contact between management and staff during service.
  • Assist with scheduling, staff assignments, and shift handovers.
  • Ensure adherence to restaurant standards, policies, and health & safety guidelines.

Skills

  • Previous experience as a bartender, server, or supervisor in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, sake, and food pairings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team while also performing hands-on service.
  • Smart Serve certification (or equivalent) required.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
