Laserglow Technologies is a successful and growing optoelectronics company headquartered in Toronto. We are light enthusiasts that provide innovative Virtually Projected walkways, safety signs, truck docking lasers, crane and forklift lights using the latest laser and LED technologies.
We are seeking an experienced professional in Technical Sales, Inside Sales to join a team of passionate technology enthusiasts, to play a key role in our expansion into the Industrial segment. This is an amazing opportunity for anyone who is a problem solver and can perform sales tasks with an “pick-up and run’ attitude. You will play a fundamental role in developing and executing revenue growth goals, in our fun yet busy and challenging work environment. You will be responsible for selling scientific or technical products. Your responsibilities will include establishing the needs of the customer, recommending and demonstrating products. You will be expected to source new clients and develop and excellent rapport with existing clients.
**Position Summary**
Under the supervision of the sales manager, you will be responsible to drive interest in potential customers for Laserglow and its photonics solutions.
- Create innovative business development plans focusing on new business in United States and ensure business development strategies are implemented successfully
- Achieve and exceed sales quotas by identifying new business segments, exploring new business opportunities, opening new frontiers
- Manage existing customer accounts ensuring customer satisfaction
- Ensure gathering of market intelligence, technology trends in the relevant market, analyzing and communicating them to the business units
- Collecting customer information for future follow-ups
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
- Creating Quotations and processing PO’s
- Staying informed about product and service information updates
- Work with CRM and ERP systems
- Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts
- Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic
- Attend industry trade shows in USA to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers
**Desired Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 3 years of inside industrial sales experience
- Ability to travel extensively throughout US & Canada
- Technical product knowledge
- Experience with industrial and commercial accounts
- Ability to persuade and influence others.
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to travel to current and potential clients.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Proficiency skills in using Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a team environment
**Compensation**:
- Competitive base salary, commensurate with experience
