Within Technology and Innovation, the One Government Experience (1GX) Centre of Excellence (COE) branch provides transformational leadership to support and enable the shift to a One Government approach to corporate services across the Government of Alberta including the Independent Legislative Offices (ILO) through managing the implementation and ongoing operations of the enterprise resource planning system.

Within the 1GX COE branch, the Information and Business Excellence team ensures that the master data within 1GX is accurate to ensure that end users are working with the correct information.

**Responsibilities**:
Some of the responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
**Data Analysis**:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and requirements.
- Extract and transform data from various sources with a primary focus on 1GX through the use of tools such as Query Manager 4, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SuccessFactors Story Reporting and datasphere.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify data trends, patterns and anomalies.
- Review data dictionaries to understand the impacts of system changes.

**Report Development**:

- Design and develop comprehensive reports and dashboards using industry-standard reporting tools.
- Ensure that reports are accurate, timely and easy to understand.
- Create interactive visualizations to effectively communicate and present data insights.
- Receive and complete Service Requests relating to developing or enhancing reports.
- Maintain and update existing reports to align with business or system needs and document changes to reports.

**Data Governance**:

- Help the Master Data Management team maintain data quality and integrity.
- Implement data governance standards and best practices.

**Collaboration**:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, supply chain management, human capital management and payroll.
