We have been serving the oil industry since 1996; and we lead the way in service, with a focus on safety and environmental responsibility. We have offices located in Mannville & Nisku, AB - looking after all three of our divisions: Vac & Water, Rentals, and Heavy Equipment.
As a Heavy Equipment Technician you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining Bulldog’s fleet of equipment in our Mannville location. Manville has the opportunity to live in camp with shift work flexibility.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lubricate, service, diagnose, repair, assemble and maintain equipment and perform other routine maintenance work
- Ensure repairs and maintenance follow all provincial and federal transportation safety regulations and guidelines
- Follow the safety program, including all policies, procedures and practices.
- Complete work orders upon completion of each job
- Train operators to maintain vehicles while in the field
- Provide field service calls when required
- Ensure the shop is maintained and clean
Qualification and Competencies:
- 2-3 years industry experience
- Valid Class 1 or 3 Driver's license is preferred, Class 5 will be considered
- Safe driving skills; driver’s abstract will be requested
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Skilled in problem-solving techniques
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Test
- Standard First Aid and H2S Alive
