Industrial parts and services supplier (est. 1991) located in Surrey is looking for an outstanding worker to join their team.
Employment opportunity at this small business is available immediately. This is a full-time position for a fast learner.
Duties include (training will be provided):
- Parts preparation for manufacturing process.
- Assembly of new units
- Taking used products apart
- Inspecting and counting items to ensure accuracy
- Pallet loading / wrapping
- Product shelving
- Moving pallets with hand truck, pallet jack & forklift
- Maintaining safe working conditions and keeping the warehouse clean and organized
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Successfully completed high school diploma
- Strong ability to work with hand tools and power tools
- Punctual and dependable
- Available to work: Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm PST
- Must have valid SIN number and reliable means of transportation
- Great attitude, well organized, able to work alone, strong work ethic
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physically fit and able to lift boxes up to 50 lbs
- Current Forklift Operator Certificate would be considered an asset, but it is not required.
- Multiple years of related experience will be an asset, but are not required
- Sufficient English verbal communication skills. Ability to speak second language would be considered an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
