About TBDC/ BHive The Toronto Business Development Centre (TBDC) is Canada's first business incubator, with over 30 years of experience helping thousands of local and international entrepreneurs build successful companies. As a non-profit organization, we're dedicated to helping high - potential entrepreneurs establish, grow, and scale their businesses by providing essential resources and business services. We recently launched the Brampton NEXT Program, a new initiative focused on recruiting global entrepreneurs to immigrate to Ontario. In collaboration with our partners and a team of experts, we plan to support 100 international entrepreneurs, helping to drive innovation and create jobs in the province. The Opportunity We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Entrepreneurship Coordinator reporting to the Program Manager to support and coordinate the operational aspects of the Brampton NEXT Program. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth execution of program activities, providing exceptional support to our entrepreneurs, and helping us meet our program goals. Key Responsibilities - Program & Delivery Support ○ Independently organize and deliver information sessions and support workshops, speaker sessions, and coordinate other programs/events for a large number of attendees. ○ Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues (e.g., Zoom, projectors) to ensure flawless session execution. ○ Assist in coordinating facility operations and ensuring all program spaces are ready. - Program Outreach & Promotion: ○ Promote entrepreneurial programs and activities to the broader community to drive engagement and participation. ○ Interact with the TBDC office and community to develop and implement new outreach strategies. - Data Management & Reporting: ○ Track and report feedback and statistics related to sessions, workshops, and outreach activities. ○ Maintain accurate program records by tracking participant milestones, attendance, and feedback. ○ Contribute to program reporting by collecting data, organizing information, and preparing summaries. - Administrative Support: ○ Manage the program schedule, including meetings, timelines, and key activities. ○ Update CRM and other databases with program progress, mentorship activity, and participant engagement. ○ Assist with the organization of all other programs and activities as required. What You'll Bring - A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field, or an entrepreneurship program supports any degree with deep experience in entrepreneurship program support. - 2-3 years of experience in program coordination, administrative support, or event management. Experience in the startup ecosystem, community organizations, or educational programs is a strong asset. - Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information to large groups. - Proficiency with digital tools, including Google Workspace, Zoom, and CRMs like Zoho, Trello, or Airtable. - A proactive and resourceful mindset with a proven ability to anticipate issues and find effective solutions. - The ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Pay: $27.00-$30.37 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-09-22
