Produce Associate

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the produce department, ensuring all products are displayed attractively.
- Assist customers by providing knowledgeable information about produce items.
- Restock shelves with fresh produce and ensure that all items are properly labeled.
- Perform cashiering duties when required, handling transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Communicate effectively with customers and staff to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Preparation of value added products such as sandwiches, vegetable & fruit trays, salads etc.
- Complete orders related to the produce deptartment.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain inventory levels and product displays.
- Ability to clean and maintain work areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively assist customers and work within a team environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
