**Job Title: Shop Assistant**

**Job Summary**:
This position will report to the Frontier Safety Training Coordinator and be responsible for basic administrative duties in the Safety Shop, as well as helping to cover phone lines and customers at Frontier Signworks on an as needed basis.

This is a Multi-Departmental Role: This role requires working within both the Signworks and Safety divisions, managing tasks and responsibilities for each.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist customers in finding products and provide product information
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handling POS system for customer orders; properly invoicing corporate clients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop floor; including sweeping & mopping as needed
- Unloading/ Unpackaging/ Sorting Delivery Truck Orders
- Assist with restocking shelves and monitoring inventory levels by doing cycle counts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shop operations
- Assist with social media content generation by taking pictures and video to help create engaging content
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred
- Previous Design experience, including familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite programs is an asset
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain shop cleanliness and order
- Familiarity with Social Media platforms, Google Drive, CRM Systems, and POS Systems.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
