**About Us**:

We are currently looking to hire Dock Supervisor Reporting to Shift Manager, this position is responsible for the efficient operation of a high-volume dock within the London terminal.

Shift Hours will be:

- **Monday to Friday: 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.**_

**Basic Duties**:

- Leads and inspires the dock team to achieve operational goals and KPIs
- Ensures all dock employees are operating in a safe and efficient manner
- Process all inbound loads and daily P&D shipments in a timely manner.
- Ensures all outbound loads depart on time and full as per network schedule
- Drives revenue growth through accessorial/cubing/reweigh activities
- Utilizes the staffing/equipment levels that are aligned with volumes and budget
- Provides daily accurate reporting of KPIs and activities
- Monitors and checks dock processes frequently to ensure quality and compliance
- Directs the dock team effectively with clear communication
- Develops their lead hands to be ready for growth opportunities
- Ensures all resources the dock team requires are available and in working order
- Collaborates with other supervisors and managers in the pursuit of continuous improvement
- Complies with all Corporate policies and procedures

**Qualifications & Experience Required**:

- Possesses a high level of energy and willingness to learn
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of transportation and supervisory experience; College or University Degree preferred
- LTL experience an asset
- Supervising in a union environment an asset
- Demonstrates the ability to adapt well to change
- Excellent practical approach to problem solving
- Customer service oriented
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Possesses exceptional personal integrity and strong values
- Has the courage and conviction to do “the right thing”
- Leads by example, results driven
