CMMN GRND Fitness and Social Wellness Collective is a transformative wellness space nestled in the heart of Olympic Village, Vancouver, encompassing 3600 sq/ft.
Our offerings encompass rhythm-based spin classes, an extensive Yoga program, mat pilates, two distinct strength training approaches, and meditation sessions. Additionally, we continuously endeavor to introduce fresh and innovative wellness experiences on a rotating basis. These include practices like breath work, sound baths, yoga + massage classes, communal acupuncture, workshops on sexual health, art therapy, beginners yoga and strength training workshops, and more.
We champion inclusion, equity, diversity, and action in our space. We operate with a trauma-informed perspective, recognizing the impact of trauma on an individual's well-being and using movement as a means of healing. By providing trauma-informed training to all our instructors, we ensure a safe and inclusive space for all. **Responsibilities**:
- Oversee daily operations of the studio, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Work with the other leaders in the CMMN GRND space to manage and supervise Care Team staff and instructors, providing leadership, guidance, development opportunities and support.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date task lists for team members to successfully complete their assigned responsibilities during scheduled shifts.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize studio performance, including revenue growth, cost control, and customer retention.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of all studio equipment, facilities, and amenities. Including bike maintenance and A/V maintenance in both studio rooms.
- Manage inventory and supplies including all studio amenities, toiletries, fitness equipment, yoga props. Stay up to date on all expense reporting.
- Hire skilled and professional Care Team members as needed.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (through MarianaTek) and financial reports to evaluate studio performance and implement corrective actions if necessary.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to develop and execute promotional campaigns, events, and initiatives to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Provide detailed reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) pertaining to all financial affairs.
- Manage, and maintain accurate records of membership, schedule, class attendance, and client profiles using the MarianaTek software.
- Manage and oversee the integration and utilization of ClassPass within our fitness studio's operations.
- Manage optimized scheduling for all Care Team + Instructors and be the point person/available for any last-minute coverage as needed in studio.
- In addition to on-going and consistent feedback; conduct quarterly Care Team performance reviews and training sessions to ensure ongoing professional development and high-quality service delivery.
- Work with the other leaders in the CMMN GRND space to provide comprehensive training to both current and newly hired spin instructors, strength instructors, and pilates instructors, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively lead classes.
