**Chandeleir Fine Dine has two seperate sections at the same location - Fine Dining Restaurant and Lounge Bar. **Our team is excited to welcome Servers to our Front-of-House. We will mentor and support you for success in your role and put you in an environment that has the high standards of quality and service and in a team with a positive and friendly attitude. Together we will consistently provide Guests with outstanding dining experience.
**What you will do**:
Before the Guests arrive:
- Scheduled numerous reservations, manage seating arrangements and prepare tables
- Follow up on reservations
- Carry out opening, closing and shift change duties to keep restaurant working efficiently and teams ready to meet Guest needs
Guests have arrived:
- Welcome Guests, guide them through the menu and take orders
- Share knowledge of menu items and flavors, enable Guests to make personal decisions based on taste and interest. Suggest appropriate options for food allergy concerns
- Ensure all food and beverage orders are taken properly and attend to Guests’ needs throughout the meal
- Work with POS system to place orders, manage bills and handle complimentary items. Properly handle cash & credit card transactions
- Communicate effectively with Front-of-House and Back-of-House.
After the Guests leave:
- Properly clean and sanitize the tables
- Keep register accurate
- Share Guest feedback
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a Server is a must
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Smart Serve Certification
- Proficient in English
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends
**Location**: Midtown, Toronto, steps away from Davisville Station
