We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Credit and Collection Analyst to join our passionate team. In that role, you ensure that you optimize the recovery of bad debt customer accounts in compliance with corporate and legal policies and procedures. The person must also provide administrative support to the regional office teams regarding correspondence and the various reports to be produced.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Assess customer credit worthiness by analyzing their financial information and using credit assessment tools.
- Effectively manage overdue customer accounts by implementing appropriate collection strategies.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service departments to resolve billing issues and facilitate the payment process.
- Negotiate repayment plans with clients to minimize losses and maintain positive relationships
- Regularly update customer files and document all collection-related communications.
- Produce regular collection reports for management, highlighting trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Perform all other related tasks related to credit and collection.

**Qualifications**
To join our team, you need:

- College degree (DEC) in Business Administration.
- Knowledge of bankruptcy and insolvency and/or other corporate legal aspects, and accounting.
- Knowledge of credit risk assessment.
- Bilingualism is essential, spoken and written.
- Negotiation experience.
- 5-10 years of experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- In-depth knowledge of the MS-Office suite (Word, Excel) PeopleSoft AR (asset).
