- 8 shifts by weekly
- Every weekend
- Must have a Canadian work permit
- From 11 pm to 7 am (night shift)
- Medical experience would be an asset
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Initiate your workday by conducting a comprehensive review of the report book, with a keen focus on identifying any unusual behaviors, monitoring requirements, medication changes, or adjustments to daily routines.
2. Be prepared to step in for team members who may be absent due to illness, ensuring seamless continuity of care for our residents.
3. Provide valuable support to the floor staff in preparing breakfast, table maintenance, and coordinating with late arrivals, facilitating a smooth start to the day.
4. Conduct regular rounds throughout the facility, diligently checking for any incidents such as falls or the absence of residents, and respond promptly and effectively as needed.
5. Attend to medication orders, complete thorough documentation for any health-related concerns, maintain records of fridge temperatures, oversee fire safety procedures, and accurately record rapid test results.
6. Deliver medications within the dining area, extending your assistance to the staff as required to ensure that all residents receive their prescribed medications promptly in their rooms.
7. Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness within the nursing office by maintaining the cleanliness of desks and counters, organizing incoming medications, and keeping the workspace orderly.
8. In cases where a resident requires immediate medical attention, take immediate action by calling 911 and requesting an ambulance. Prepare a medication list (a copy of the Medication Administration Record), place the resident profile sheet at the front of the chart, and ensure that Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) information is readily accessible in the front sleeve of the chart.
9. When a resident is transferred to a hospital, ensure timely and compassionate communication with their family. Immediate notification is essential, as families rely on this information.

**Responsabilités principales**:
1. Commencez votre journée de travail en effectuant une revue approfondie du livre des rapports, en mettant particulièrement l'accent sur l'identification de tout comportement inhabituel, les exigences de surveillance, les changements de médication ou les ajustements aux routines quotidiennes.
2. Soyez prêt à remplacer les membres de l'équipe absents pour cause de maladie, assurant une continuité de soins sans faille pour nos résidents.
3. Apportez un soutien précieux au personnel de l'étage pour la préparation du petit-déjeuner, l'entretien des tables et la coordination avec les arrivées tardives, facilitant un début de journée sans heurts.
4. Effectuez des rondes régulières dans tout l'établissement, vérifiant diligemment tout incident tel que des chutes ou l'absence de résidents, et réagissez promptement et efficacement au besoin.
5. Répondez aux ordonnances médicales, documentez de manière approfondie toute préoccupation liée à la santé, tenez des registres de température des réfrigérateurs, supervisez les procédures de sécurité incendie et enregistrez avec précision les résultats des tests rapides.
6. Distribuez les médicaments dans la salle à manger, offrant votre assistance au personnel au besoin pour garantir que tous les résidents reçoivent promptement leurs médicaments prescrits dans leurs chambres.
7. Maintenez les normes les plus élevées de propreté dans le bureau des infirmières en maintenant la propreté des bureaux et des comptoirs, en organisant les médicaments entrants et en gardant l'espace de travail ordonné.
8. En cas de besoin immédiat d'attention médicale pour un résident, prenez des mesures immédiates en appelant le 911 et en demandant une ambulance. Préparez une liste de médicaments (une copie de la Fiche d'administration des médicaments), placez la fiche de profil du résident à l'avant du dossier et assurez-vous que les informations de non-réanimation (NR) sont facilement accessibles dans la pochette avant du dossier.
