**What You’ll Do**
The Field Effect team is looking for a skilled and experienced Events and Sponsorship Manager with a passion for organization and strong attention to detail. As a core member of the marketing team, you will manage the research, strategy, planning, and execution of events that support our brand awareness and strategic growth priorities. In this role, you will:
- Research, identify, and manage in-person and virtual external events such as tradeshows and conferences
- Run internally hosted events (such as webinars)
- Develop an event strategy and calendar to support awareness and demand generation goals
- Coordinate staffing and presenters for events and organize accommodations as needed
- Collaborate with various teams for attendee registrations and lead handling
- Build and manage relationships with community partners
- Source and negotiate with event organizers, vendors, and suppliers
- Identify and manage event sponsorships
- Work with partner marketing to identify key channel events and opportunities
- Work within a specified budget and track accordingly
- Collaborate with marketing team to fulfill promotional requirements and opportunities for events and ensure alignment of initiatives
- Brainstorm and implement creative ideas to maximize results of events and sponsorships
- Own the events calendar and planning process from end to end, including monthly, quarterly, and annual planning
- Conduct post-event analysis to maximize value and inform the events and sponsorships strategy
- Triage internal and external event/sponsorship requests
- Lead the planning and execution of company-wide events such as the annual year-end summit
**Experience & skills we look for**
- 5+ years of experience in events management
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Superior analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills to analyze, evaluate, synthesize, and present research and strategy
- Focused attention to detail, excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure and tight timelines
- Excellent written, visual, and verbal communications skills effective with broad and diverse audiences
- Knowledge of webinar technology (e.g., Zoom)
- Ability to triage and problem solve on the spot
