**Overview**:
**_(This role can be based in Reno, Las Vegas, or Moncton, Canada)_**
The Product Operations team provides cross-functional leadership and direction to manage risk and ensure product readiness across the organization (e.g., development, regulatory, manufacturing, delivery, customer acceptance, etc.) that is in alignment with business strategy and financial plan. This position ensures market-specific VLT product can be ordered, built, shipped, and installed as planned for our clients, operators and players.
IGT is on the forefront of new technology and is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, Moncton-based product lifecycle program manager who is ready to bring strong communication, issue resolution, and leadership skills to work with cross-functional teams around the globe to execute complex VLT product strategy.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Track major milestones and risks, portfolio-wide, for VLT priorities and contracts
- Organize and execute product life cycle activities and provide direction to achieve product readiness for the portfolio in alignment with product strategy and budget
- Support project team with scope management as it relates to contracts, budget and product roadmaps
- Track and help resolve open issues related to key customers and deliveries
- Ensure hardware readiness - track major milestones related to hardware, identify lead-time risks and help solve hardware challenges, execute new product introduction to VLT markets
- Prepare and facilitate, or participate in, executive-level communications and reporting
- Assist in resolution for order constraints and holds
- Serve as a Product Operations team point of contact for all VLT product partners across the organization
- Provide tactical direction, clarify priorities, lead problem resolution and remove barriers for cross-functional teams
- Assist with risk mitigation on key product releases
**FIRST YEAR GOALS**
- Understand IGT’s VLT product portfolio, components of product, market specifications and their dependencies. Be up-to-date with recent development roadmaps of product components relevant to VLT product.
- Be effectively familiar with VLT market release strategy and their individual approval/acceptance processes
- Be proficient within Salesforce, JIRA, SAP Systems, PPM, MATRIX and the internal schedule tracking database PROS
- Build strong relationships with product managers and key partners including, Sales, Studios, Foundation, PA, PMO, GOM, Compliance, Manufacturing & Operations, SAP VC and the wider Product Management team
- Perform competently product lifecycle tasks from initiation to closure
- Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions to streamline or close gaps related to product readiness
- Become effectively familiar with and track key customer deliveries, including risk and impact to financial plan
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- PMI certification (preferred) or equivalent experience required
- 5+ years of experience in project managing or program managing engineering/technical projects
- Prefer to have basic knowledge of the gaming industry and can leverage knowledge to identify needs and opportunities and develop in depth solutions; VLT development and/or test knowledge and experience, including RFPs, is a plus
- Must be comfortable and effective in representing the Product team to internal and external executive-level stakeholders
- Must have excellent communication, written and oral skills
- Must have strong MS Office skills (SAP, Confluence, Salesforce, Clarity, MS Access and/or Matrix experience is a plus)
- Ability to lead and influence both creative and technical teams
- Willingness to travel if needed
- Overtime/flexible hours may be required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
