**Position Summary**
We are looking for a National Account Manager, GPO/LTC Chains based at our North York office reporting into the National Key Account Manager. This role is responsible for driving demand, generating incremental sales growth within select National Key Healthcare Accounts, improving contract effectiveness to drive profitable growth and mitigate risk through selling the Medical Nutrition Clinical and Consumer Care portfolio within a national geography including group purchasing organizations (GPOs), National Long -Term Care Chains head offices and supporting Distributor customer initiatives.
**A day in the life of a National Account Manager, GPO/LTC Chains**
As a National Account Manager, GPO/LTC Chains you will be working on developing key account business plans, which includes effective analysis of key account sales data, environmental scan, identification of opportunities and risks, development and tracking execution against account plans and alignment with the National Integrated Commercial Plan.
You will also:
- Set the strategic direction/corporate initiatives that need to be executed nationally, while aligning to the Integrated Commercial Plan, Sales Operational Plan, and the strategic direction on contracts and standardized processes provided by the National Key Accounts Manager.
- Work collaboratively with the National Pricing Strategy Manager, Sales Finance Analyst, National and Regional Account Sales Managers, Regional Business Managers, Marketing & Medical Affairs Managers and Territory Managers to drive profitable growth within National key accounts ensuring contract strategy, guiding principles and processes are adhered to, implemented, and validated for impact effectively.
- Effectively execute key account business plan; develop and implement strategies & tactical plans to achieve performance targets.
- Conduct regular business reviews in collaboration with National & Regional Account Team and Regional Business Managers to significantly contribute to national sales growth through supporting implementation and execution of contracts/agreements.
- Maximize sales focused virtual and face to face customer interactions through selling our products and programs to key customers highlighting the economic impact and value of offerings, presenting business reviews to ensure alignment of objectives and ensure compliance of Nestle customer contracts as it pertains to the full product line, where applicable.
- Identify, validate, and develop new sales opportunities including effective customer mapping (identifying and focusing on key decision maker and influencer) and resources required to execute on sales opportunities; responsible for preparing and presenting business reviews for internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of objectives, sales plans, and sales targets.
