Toronto, Canada Walk-In Medical Clinic Full time

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and medical histories
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions under physician supervision
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests appropriately
- Develop and implement patient care and treatment plans
- Provide patient education and counseling with a focus on empathy and clarity
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff
- Incorporate patient feedback to continuously improve care quality
- Works under minimum supervision from the doctor.
- Prescribe medications and administer vaccines.
- Perform office billing tasks, including OHIP, uninsured and IFH billing.
- Maintain accurate medical records using Avaros (Oscar) or similar electronic health record systems.

**Experience**
- Completed at least 1 Canadian equivalency exam is mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Certified and registered with the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants (CAPA) or relevant provincial regulatory body ( bonus )
- Minimum 1 year of experience in **Canadian** **family medicine and walk-in clinic settings** preferred

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour

- Bachelor's Degree (required)

**Experience**:

- working with Canadian EMR system in a clinic.: 1 year (required)
- Physician/Clinical Assistant in Canadian walkin/familydoctor: 1 year (required)
- Patient counseling in Canada: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- medicine degree from a university. (required)
