FusionTech is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join our growing construction Team
Working under the supervision of the Foreman, the AZ Driver will drive various types of vehicles and trucks as well as perform some Labourer duties to support the FusionTech Construction Team.

JOB DUTIES:

- Manage the vehicles and its actions; responsible for identifying weight as to not exceed vehicle requirements
- Load and unload heavy equipment in a secure and damage free manner
- Transport cargo and/or equipment utilizing various combinations of truck and trailer
- Complete the Driver’s daily pre-trip, en-route and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Complete the Driver’s logbook, accident, or incident reports
- Maintaining a clean and orderly vehicle (interior and exterior)
- Digging/holes and trenches, pulling cable
- Operating tools and equipment and supporting the crew as needed
- General site preparation and clean-up as directed
- Other duties as required

**SKILLS AND QUALITIES WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- 3-5 years of related experience in the construction or landscaping industry
- Valid AZ driver's license and a good driver's abstract
- Previous experience operating a Mini Excavator to dig and grade. (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to read locates is a definite asset
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions year long
- Good verbal communication skills and able to work with others
- Must be able to safely lift 23 kg (50 lbs.)
- Demonstrated commitment to health and safety and willing to receive applicable health and safety training as per legislative and job requirements
- Must be willing to complete an online criminal record check to the company’s satisfaction
- Perform various manual labour tasks related to telecommunication construction
- Complete accurately all work reports
- Regularly perform Health & Safety inspection of equipment and tools
- Maintain clean and safe work sites and vehicles
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager or Foreman
- Travel is required (per diem is paid)
- Must be able to work up to 10 hour days plus drive time
- Must be a self-disciplined, motivated, organized, and a team player;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Must join Liuna Local 183 - union

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $26.35 per hour
