Geophysics GPR International Inc. is a leading provider of geophysical services and geotechnical instrumentation to Canadian engineering, construction and mining companies. GPR is searching for a Geophysicist to be based in its Mississauga office (Toronto).

The Geophysicist will spend a combination of his/her time in the field, in and around the Greater Toronto Area, directing the collection of geophysical data, and a portion of his/her time in the office, processing a variety of data sets from specialty geophysical methods.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
Reporting to the Senior Geophysicist, the Geophysicist will be responsible for
- the collection of geophysical data (planning and executing surveys),
- processing, imaging and interpreting the data
- supervising small teams
- communicating with clients
- preparing reports.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education**
- Bachelor’s Degree in the fields of Earth Science, Geophysics Specialization, Geological Engineering, Geophysics focus or Physics

**Experience / Skills**
- Previous experience collecting, processing and interpreting geophysical data
- Previous experience collecting, processing and interpreting shallow seismic refraction data an asset
- Previous experience with Ground Penetrating Radar, Geonics EM-31 and EM-61 instruments and data sets an asset
- Must be a P.Geo. or P.Eng. or eligible to become a P.Geo. or P.Eng.
- Must be willing to travel within Canada and internationally
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.

**Compensation and Benefits**
Salary + Benefits will be commensurate with Qualifications / Experience.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
