**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Coordinator to lead and manage billing operations across our clinics. This individual will be responsible for overseeing billing processes related to OHIP, Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA), Accident Benefits (AB), Tort claims, Extended Health Care (EHC), WSIB, and Private Pay services. Experience with platforms such as Walnut, InputHealth, and Telus HCV is highly preferred.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- OHIP Billing
- Submit and reconcile OHIP claims using InputHealth or Telus HCV platforms.
- Monitor rejected claims, resolve issues, and resubmit as needed to ensure timely payments.
- Keep updated with relevant OHIP codes and changes. MVA / Accident Benefits (AB) Billing
- Manage all MVA and AB billing through Walnut, including OCF-18 submissions, invoicing, and insurer communications.
- Track treatment approvals and sessions, ensuring compliance.
- Follow up on outstanding balances and reconcile payments received. Tort (Legal Claim) Billing
- Coordinate with legal representatives to submit invoices
- Maintain accurate records of legal undertakings, settlements, and letter-of-protection agreements.
- Monitor aged receivables and flag cases that require follow-up with law firms. Extended Health Care (EHC) Billing
- Submit claims for allied health services (e.g., physiotherapy, chiro, psychology) through private insurance portals.
- Confirm patient coverage and assist with pre-authorizations if needed.
- Reconcile insurance payments and manage denied claims. WSIB Billing
- Submit treatment plans and invoices for approved workplace injury cases.
- Ensure timely submission through WSIB or HCAI systems and compliance with WSIB documentation standards.
- Communicate with WSIB case managers regarding approvals, adjustments, and billing queries.

**Private Pay Billing**
- Issue invoices for non-insured services and collect payments.
- Coordinate with accounting to reconcile transactions and issue receipts.
- Address patient billing inquiries and support them through the payment process.

**Reporting & Reconciliation**
- Maintain accurate billing logs and prepare monthly reports across all streams.
- Provide regular updates to the Finance and Operations teams on billing performance and receivables.

**Education**:

- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Health Administration, Medical Office Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Additional training or certification in Medical Billing, OHIP Claims, or Health Information Management is an asset.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical billing, clinic administration, or healthcare finance role.
- Strong working knowledge of OHIP billing, MVA/AB claims, and extended health benefits.
- Experience with Walnut, InputHealth, and Telus HCV preferred. - Familiarity with WSIB and Tort/legal billing processes.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
