The expected pay for this position is hour or $7,500.00/month.

This position strengthens the research functions in Structural and Earthquake Engineering. The Research Associate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Developing earthquake-resilient components and systems- Planning and executing experiments on structural frames, members, and components- Conducting thorough investigations utilizing finite element analysis- Assessing seismic performance through macro modeling of structures- Disseminating research findings through publication in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals- Supervisory responsibility for multiple groups of researchers

Applicants must meet the requirements below.- A Ph.D. in structural engineering or a closely related discipline.- A minimum of ten (10) publications in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals, including at least five (5) as first author.- Proven experience in organizing, coordinating, and managing research projects, demonstrated by participation in at least three grant-funded research programs.- A clear understanding of the academic research process, supported by both practical and academic experience.
