Handyman

**What you will be doing**:

- Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
- Performing preventative maintenance.
- Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
- Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
- Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
- Survey buildings to ensure they are consistent with health and safety regulations
- Notifying management of any required repairs outside of their ability
- Organization calendars and appointments in relation to regular required maintenance

**Requirements**:

- Physically capable of lifting +50 pounds
- Experience in a technician or building maintenance role;
- General understanding of basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry
- Experience with completing drywall repairs
- Experience with hardware tools
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of all Health and Safety instructions and policies
- Perform other related work/special projects as required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Handyman: 3 years (required)
- Tile installation: 1 year (preferred)
