**Accounting Manager - Remote**

**OBJECTIVE**:
The Accounting Manager will join the Finance and Accounting team, which entails a variety of general accounting duties in support of day-to-day functions and financial reporting processes including month-end close. This individual has sound knowledge of accounting principles and can work autonomously effectively. They should be motivated to grow into a leadership position within the accounting team once specific company processes are mastered.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Review JE entries and ensure reconciliations are completed.
- Calculate Inventory reserve monthly based on aging inventory.
- Liaise operations to develop or better understand existing metrics and KPIs that influence financial performance.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process, month-end close of general ledger, provide commentary for COGS transactions and review the contracts.
- Work with outside auditing firm during annual audit.
- Manage the development and implementation of accounting and operational procedures and processes.
- Analyze sophisticated data and identify patterns, recommend actions, and measure outcomes.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 5 years cost accounting experience required, CPA or CMA preferred.
- Experience working in Quickbooks & SAP.
- Track record of working in cross-functional organizations and leading a team.
- Proven analytical and data entry skills with acute attention to detail
