As the Bed Allocation Officer, you will work collaboratively with the Quality Utilization Management Program and the multidisciplinary team and is responsible for the appropriate assignment of beds for admissions, transfers and discharges of patients. Facilitates information on current patient flow activities.
- Secondary School Diploma or Equivalent
- Medical Office Administration Program required
- Meditech Admission Module, ER tracker, PICS
- General Medical Office administration skills
- One year in an Acute Care Facility utilizing technology to manage a patient placement and flow
