Currently we are seeking **Seasonal Part Time Sales Associate**

The primary responsibility of the sales associate is to provide excellent customer service to MUJI customers. Staff must be proactive and excel in a multi-tasking environment which is constantly changing. Staff should be eager to learn as MUJI carries over 7000 products. Ideal sales associates will be well versed in MUJI's philosophy and possess a love for its products. Staff are sometimes required to lift and transport heavy items. Minimal computer knowledge is necessary.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- **Customer Service and Sales**_
- Ensure that customers are the top priority
- Provide superior customer service
- Help customers make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions
- Be alert and respond to customers’ needs and their buying signals
- Be aware of store daily and weekly budgets and promotions, and actively seek sales to achieve these
- Develop knowledge of the MUJI product range and sales techniques required to sell them
- **Store Merchandising/ Product Handling**_
- Upholds great standards around merchandising and operations in the store and executes the company’s visions
- Develop high standards of merchandise presentation and stock handling as per MUJI guidelines
- Ensure that shop floor and staff areas housekeeping and presentation are exemplary
- **Systems**_
- Make efficient and effective use of all store equipment and systems, including the POS (point of sale) system
- Assist where directed, with all forms of stock control, including yearly inventories, pricing, sales preparation
- **Health Safety & Security**_
- Aid management team with general security of stock
- Adhere to company’s security procedures
- Be aware of and adhere to company’s health and safety guidelines
- **General**_
- Develops team members by working shoulder-to-shoulder to build customer service capability, ensuring best customer experience is delivered in the store.
- Uses our values to effectively collaborate and communicate information to deliver the right experience.
- Flexibility to work varied hours including late shifts, weekends and holidays
