- Toronto, CanadaHR Business Partner
- The HR Business Partner will use well-developed consulting skills to help the business achieve key business objectives and increase the effectiveness of the organization. This is a remote position that will support our Eastern Canadian Employees. They will coach clients on a variety of HR and business-related issues to effect change in the organization. Additional responsibilities include leading and managing, in partnership with the relevant HR centers of expertise, leadership development, talent management, compensation strategies, engagement, retention and culture. In addition to developing and retaining top internal talent, the HRBP will play an important role in partnering with the Regional Sales Directors to manage and grow internal talent and attract top external talent for key leadership and staff roles within the Connect Hearing Clinics.**Responsibilities & Duties**
Business Management- Provide strategic HR business partnership, advising leaders and People Managers within their assigned client group on key initiatives and priorities
- Support KPI and performance management of existing clinics.
- Continue to drive organizational effectiveness, talent management and engagement of existing clinics.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the Corporate HR to develop solutions aligned to the local market
Recruitment- Supports line managers to plan workforce needs and to ensure on time recruiting of staff.
- Keeps updated market knowledge on recruitment trends on the industry
- Ensures that the Line Managers have the right competencies and tools to perform a professional recruitment process
- HR Processes- Creates and drives the strategy and change plan to implement Sonova HR processes into the newly integrated acquired businesses championing: Appraisal, Development, Merit, VCC, EEAP, HearMe,
- Succession Planning- Partner with business leaders to meet critical timelines and deliverables for HR initiatives and periodic reporting requirements
- Provides guidance and input on business unit organizational structures, workforce planning and succession planning.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of HR KPIs on the GC and legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling. development, disciplinary actions).
- Partners with and supports the broader HR team to develop and implement specific plans to meet the needs of the business
- Responsible for managing the HR responsibilities of the Worker's Compensation Program
- Lead, advise and support your client group in the following areas, among others:
- Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives
- Organizational Development
- Leadership Development
- Employee Relations
- Recruitment and Retention
- Performance Management
- Workforce Planning & Succession Planning
- Total Rewards - drive effective compensation equity and planning processes for clients
- Partners with HR leadership to align current and future business needs into an overall integrated HR plan for the function, focusing on opportunities that contribute to the growth and competitiveness of the business
- Develop human resources solutions and solve people-related business challenges by collecting and analyzing data, and recommending courses of action
- Improve manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying issues, evaluating potential solutions, implementing selected solutions, and coaching and counselling managers and employees
- Complete assigned HR projects by clarifying objectives, setting clear timetables and schedules, conducting research, developing, and organizing information, analyzing results, and preparing final findings and recommendations
- Strategically apply, monitor, and enforce employment laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Manages internal HR communications and One Sonova/ HR page in partnership with Manager, Communications
- Support retention initiatives
- Understands HR Systems and possesses the appetite for continuous improvement and creating efficiencies where possible
