As a member of the Interdisciplinary Team, and under the general direction of the Addictions Counsellor - Degree (Alcohol & Addictions Services Worker), the primary goal will be to restore, maintain and enhance the recovery of people seeking help for addiction and/or addiction related issues by implementing various modalities of addiction recovery programs. Responsibilities include providing informational programming as well as individual and group counselling sessions with clients.

- Chemical Dependency diploma

- Completed social sciences or human services discipline acceptable to employer

**Knowledge and Abilities**
- Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team

**Other Information**
- Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement

**Additional Comment**
- No guaranteed hours. Must be Available a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours per 3 week period. Must be available all shifts, short shifts, short notice calls, stats and holidays, where applicable
