**What You’ll Be Doing**

Ö **Project Evaluation** - Review drawings, specs, and tender forms to fully understand the project scope, identify potential cost savings, and flag construction challenges.

Ö **Subcontractor and Supplier Coordination** - Select and invite qualified subcontractors and suppliers to participate in quotes.

Ö **Site and Pre-Tender Meetings** - Attend pre-bid site visits and client meetings to gather essential project details.

Ö **Cost Estimating and Proposal Preparation** - Collaborate as needed with the PM to develop detailed estimates covering materials, labour, equipment, subcontracts, and general conditions.

Ö **Risk Management** - Ensure required bonding, insurance, and documentation are in place before submission deadlines.

Ö **Project Handover** - Create thorough pass-off packages for the project management team to ensure smooth execution.

Ö **Ongoing Support** - Support the team throughout the project lifecycle, including handling change orders and coordinating with subtrades.

**What You Bring to the Team**
- 7+ years of commercial construction experience and a CET qualification (or equivalent).
- Strong estimating skills for projects up to $10 million.
- Experience with estimating software would be an asset.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Valid Alberta driver’s license.
