**Responsibilities & Tasks**
- Plan and develop product throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision.
- Drive product enhancements, new services and amendments to product features.
- Develop Product Roadmap to achieve product targets (in terms of budgeted revenues, revenue drivers and market share)
- Conceptualize product concepts (capabilities in terms of digital and non-digital functions/features/services) based on product plans and roadmaps
- Design products with Customer Experience in mind
- Provide detailed analysis and management reports on product performance vs. competitors and overall markets’ performance.
- Conduct competitive scan, financial analysis and recommendation of product functions and strategies to maintain competitiveness in the market.
- Monitor and analyse product performance versus key competitors. Trigger planning sessions, strategies and actions to counter threats and concerns.
- Keep abreast of international developments relating to trade facilitation.
- Generate users’ stories on product specifications and requirements
- Work with engineering /QA team to plan and deliver features on time
- Monitor and measure launched products performance and useability, communicate feedback to product development teams
- Understand the user behavior, design and deliver product solutions to solve customer problems

**Qualification**:

- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines
- More than 3 years’ of experience in supply chain management, global trade and logistics industry
- More than 5 years’ experience in IT solutions in trade and logistics & supply chain or global transportation industries
- Experience in Canada Customs, IID, ACI, RNS a plus
- Experience in product development / management areas a plus
- 2+ years’ experience with:

- Data communication method such (VAN, FTP, SFTP, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON)
- Wireframing/prototyping tools, sequence diagrams, state diagrams, class and object diagrams (Axure, UXPin, Lucidchart)
- Different software development methodologies, i.e. Waterfall (SDLC), Agile, etc.
- ANSI X12 and EDIFACT
- Past experience in technical writing or user acceptance testing
- Past experience in IT, SaaS

- Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of client personnel and team members
- Experience in Product P&L responsibility and management
- Ability to present our products and brand effectively

- Fast and accurate under tight deadlines
- Extensive problem solving and decision-making skills
- Must enjoy spending time in the field to understand problems and find innovative solutions for the client.
