Tuopu North America is a fast-growing company specializing in the design and distribution of automotive parts / components. We are looking for someone that is comfortable with physical labour and has a strong desire to learn and be part of a cohesive team.

**Duties will include but not limited to**:
Shipping & receiving duties:

- Emptying inbound containers and organizing in the receiving area
- Put away and organization of inbound container shipments
- Picking outbound shipments and organizing in the shipping area
- Loading outbound trucks
- Effective communication between yourself, logistics department, co-workers, and drivers in regard to inbound / outbound materials
- Supplying packing and quality sort areas with required material

Other duties:

- Packing products into totes, boxes and crates to meet customer requirements.
- Various measures of inspection for non-conforming parts. Processing and / or re-work of any reject parts discovered.
- Verification of inbound and outbound shipments with labels, packing slips etc. provided by the Logistics Department and carriers.
- Responsible for inventory accuracy, monitoring and counting while performing each task and through official (weekly / monthly) inventory counts.
- Verify quality control requirements of Tuopu North America and customers have been met.
- Effectively correspond to obtain or clarify order requirements.
- Ensure work and assigned areas are clean and tidy.
- Participate in and utilize all assigned training.
- Use good judgement and respectful behaviour when corresponding with employees, vendors, or customers of Tuopu North America.
- Exercise and abide by Tuopu North America and Provincial safety requirements.
- Refer problems and exceptions to Warehouse Lead and / or Manager.
- Follow and perform job functions as instructed by Warehouse Lead and / or Manager.
- Support cross-functional departments when needed.

**Required Skills**:
Ability to:

- calculate figures and amounts such as totals, percentages, decimals, fractions, etc.
- read, comprehend and write simple correspondence such as memos and work instructions.
- deal with people involving several variables in standardized situations.
- maintain a positive outlook and professional behaviour.
- lift up to 50 pounds (repetitive at times) and occasionally stand for long periods.

**Experience**:
Warehousing: 1+ years preferred

Licensed forklift operator w/ 1+ years experience on the following equipment preferred:

- Counterbalance
- Dock Stocker or Reach
- Order Picker (not compulsory)
- Working at heights (not compulsory)

**Education**:
Secondary school diploma or equivalent
