**Position Details**
- The University of Lethbridge is seeking a Director, Financial Reporting.

Reporting to the Associate Vice-President Finance, this position is responsible for the University’s internal and external financial reporting, including preparation of the financial statements, coordination of the external audit, evaluation of changing regulatory or accounting standards, and oversight of adherence to accounting standards for all University financial transactions. This position is also responsible for managing the University’s financial statement software tools, and developing new reporting as needed.

The Director, Financial Reporting leads financial services teams responsible for capital assets, capital projects, ancillary operations, and restricted funds including research, trust, and endowment funds. Additional responsibilities include treasury functions including cashflow monitoring and approvals for institutional investment changes.

The position’s responsibilities involve meeting and coordinating with external auditors and the Office of the Auditor General, as well as participating at the University’s Board of Governors Finance and Audit Committee meetings.

**Position Qualifications**
- The qualifications required for this position include a University Degree in Accounting, a Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) designation, and a minimum of seven years’ experience.

**Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)**
- $97,373.43 - $122,495.52 annually

**Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)**
- $97,373.43 - $147,617.60 annually (APO - Grade 6)
