Based on the South Shore of Montreal and in full expansion, **PRO-BALLAST** is looking for a **Production Labourer**, passionate about manual work and machinery operation, to join their team.

**YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE**:
Under the supervision of the team leader of his or her department, the **Production Labourer** must perform various tasks in the assembly of electrical and electronic components, handling, packaging, preparation and cleaning of parts and will safely operate various production-related equipment and machinery.
- Reads, understands and applies blueprints and specifications;
- Fits and assembles machined metal parts and sub-assemblies using hand tools;
- Assembles electrical and/or electronic components;
- Packs products for shipment;
- Operate machinery;
- Handle various materials;
- Verify dimensions of products to ensure they meet specifications;
- Operate simple machinery such as sandblasters, benders, filtering machines, etc;
- Assist machinery operators in their duties;
- Ensure quality control;
- Follow company policies, procedures and regulations.
- Provide training to new employees.

**REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION ARE**:

- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Be able to use tools such as drill, grinder, band saw, sandblaster,
- Be able to work independently
- Be in good physical shape and able to lift loads
- Be able to use a computer system
- Be able to read a plan
- Be able to use and interpret measuring instruments
